Our troop (EN)
Our troop began in spring 1990. But the Scout movement has got long tradition in the Czech Republic. The first scout summer camp was hold in 1911, but scout life was stopped three times: 1939 by Nazism, 1950 and 1970 by Communism. Our troop has started after the last renewal.
We are members of Junák - Association of Scouts and Guides, the largest scout organization in Czech Republic and belong in group Blaník from Prague.
Our partner troop is 24th troop from Luton (UK). In summer 2004 we were camping together in Gilwell Park. The next year were our British friends welcomed at camp in Czech Republic.
